Closet Essential: Ep.2 Velvet Hangers

This I got to say…changing your hangers into one color and design is a closet make over itself.

Particularly I am going to talk about the velvet hangers I just got from S&R, and its on sale 50%off Yass!.

I have been eyeing some velvet hangers since last year. Well since my good friend Angel told me that I have to get myself these hangers because it will change my closet completely and it did. It is just until recently I gave it a go ( well mostly because it is on sale and it is not cheap plus my numbers is not exactly few.hihi) but super happy I made the change.

These velvet hangers are just so sleek looking they come in more colors but I choose black as it is more classic and matches everything. It is very thin so it will give you more space in your closet (more space for new ones..hehe) It is non-slip which means those stubborn slipping fabric that keeps on falling if your getting something off the rack, it stays in place. (save you the trouble). And also it will give your clothes good form, not like other hangers that gives you weird shapes (on the shoulders mostly)

The only con is its velvet so sometimes there are tiny hair like fiber sticking on your clothes especially visible on whites but its easy to brush off (no biggie)

It is still untidy but its way looking better than before, the hangers really thus helping.

I should have done the before and after but totally forgot to take photos of before. (My bad😓)

—see there’s a gap…its usually very tight to pull out some clothes. Excuse that plastic container its full of my swimwears and I haven’t organized it yet..

This is really how my closet is, I haven’t change anything but the hangers.

I have a rack beside my bed; Here I put all my everyday shirts, midi skirts and linen trousers plus new clothes that I haven’t worn yet so I can remember. As you can see from above photos, It won’t fit in my built-in closet anymore. So I got myself an open rack and changing the hangers with the same color/kind made it looking more neat and cohesive.

I kept a few wooden hangers still for future clothing shoots. Its really cute for flats-lays and stuff.
