The Proposalš
So I got engaged!!ā¦..
Last October 1st. Its a Thursday. A sunny perfect day.
Iām gushing red, canāt you tellā¦.
What happen that dayā¦..
We planned to go to BuDa (Seagull Mountain Resort) to celebrate our 10th month together (monthsary, yes weāre corny like that..)
8am: He picked me up and surprises me with a beautiful bouquet š
Its a 2 hour drive from the Cityā¦along the way we stop for picturesā¦
And we ate the salad and two sunny side-up I brought (as baon) hence the photo he took of my greasy mouth..haha but the view is just astounding.
We also stop for sikwate (hot coco) and suman (rice cake) at the Seagull cafe.

Then we went inside the resort. Its a weekday so thereās not much people, well actually we didnāt saw anyone there at that time. It was just us, It felt like it was exclusive for us.š
I have no Idea whatās about to happenā¦
We took a lot of pictures (as per usual)ā¦and thenā¦

His plan was to give me the card first then let me open the box with the cake that says āmarry meā whilst him getting on his knees with the ring on handā¦
But It went a bit haywireā¦He said heās so nervous that he doesnāt know what to do next..coz his holding up his phone to capture the whole thing while taking out the ring and he had no help and thereās no one around to asked. He gave me the card after everything had happen and just said āay Hala dapat gihatag nako ni unaā( I should have given you the card first) haha
He is just so adorable and everything felt perfectā¦

The first time we went there together last 2019. Who would have thought that this is going to be the place. Our perfect spot.

Our Storyā¦
We were classmates in college. Heās one of the kindest guy I know and truly a gentleman. We are close back then. He used to picked me up with his red bug car.. (an old volkswagen which we still use up till now for sunday chill rideš) ..and just stroll around the city. Heās always a text away when I needed company but it never crossed my mind to see him differently, like more than a friend. Plus he never made a move before or so he said I was not paying attention of him (before)hahaš He said when I get into his car he always play āsay that you love meā on the stereo to catch my attention (papansin). I always thought that he had a bad taste of music..wahahaš joking.. Heās an old soul.
He also got me dozen of glazed donuts before (which is a fave)that he saved up for (from his allowance). Asked his friend who went to Manila coz at that time we donāt have Krispy Kreme yet. To me, I thought he is just being nice..ššš
Okay..to my defense... I honestly didnāt notice. š
Iām jokingly telling him that I was only giving my attention to the wrong ones to finally see the right one. And that I am worth the waitā¦ahhahaš Kidding aside, thats the most truth. If it wasnāt for our past we wont have this gift (our present) š
We started dating late last year...and everything became really easyā¦ and here we are...building a life together amidst all the chaos in the worldā¦Finding each other is quite a blessing, made 2020 our best yetā¦
I hope our simple love story make you smile š as we badly need these days..
