Give your old clothes a flip…

I do alter my clothes in style or in size. I’m not skinny, I’m just generally small. Most (western) size small still runs big on me. So having to resize and restyle my clothes is my cut&dried ever-since. Sadly i didn’t acquire the ability to sew, that would’ve made my life easier, really. But trust me i tried but it wasn’t for me (I think..) so I am sticking to styling..teehee😁

Now that we put aside my incapability😒… The main trick is…you gotta find yourself a good sewer… Well I have my fair-share of good ones and also some bad ones (that i totally regretted😑) Gladly, now i have a keeper…he gives good price and clean work.👍

So I got myself this Bershka romper. I totally love the fabric & print and fits me very well also. The only problem is….bathroom breaks becomes very horrifying..haha😱🤭😆 I know how rompers are, i have/had before but most have the opening is upfront or on the sides..but this one is at the back and its a magic zipper that goes from the back-neck down to ends of the lower back (lumbar) curve..I even have to ask someone to unzip atleast about 3 inches of the way, so i can yoga my way out of it.. can you imagine how dreadful that was. And yes that was the first and last time that i wore it and its been sitting in my closet for almost 2 yrs now. And as i was decluttering I am debating if i am going to keep it or sell it coz i really still like it.

I decided to keep it..so I’d better fix the problem. I am thinking to change the zipper, or make it a button-down upfront..yada..yada..but my heart sets on cutting it into two-pieces: a crop top and a high-waist shorts. Its like hitting two birds in one stone, right?!.🤗

So Happy that i did, i enjoy wearing them separately. Thanks to kuya ronnie (my sewer) for doing such a dandy job.
