what to wear for breezy Hong Kong
Hong Kong must have been my go to place.
Yes it is a shopping haven but besides that fact, the food is amazing, there’s a lot of places to dine and to explore. Here is a tip when your visiting; buy the 3 day unli-pass of their subway(MTR) at the airport. It will save you some money and time, plus it is easy to go around all the touristy spots, and for free days if you have nothing on the agenda try getting off to a non-touristy stops and discover something new around that area. I always have, every time i visit. (just be sure to have your handy-dandy maps, getting lost is not exactly fun, cabs are expensive and the locals aren’t the friendliest.)
Disclaimer: This is not a travel guide. It is probably my 8th time to visit so i may give out some pointers here and there😉
So we (the fam) went last March(2019) for a short 3-day trip. March weather is usually a bit chilly and drizzly. Even if it is sunny..it is still chilly so better have your layers on.
Here is what i wore on a (22°c -19°c) weather. OOTD’s on your way.😊😆
Day 1st: Walking around Mongkok area.. we were looking for this so popular Kam Wah cafe…a lot of people are raving about it.
Their pineapple bun is the most sought after. Well, it is very tasty, But as all the bread I’ve tasted in HK…they all taste like breadtalk..which is really really good…😊👌

Our last full Day: Finally we went to Ngong Ping.
-sadly the cable car was under maintenance that time…it would’ve been nice to see that part of Lantau Island from up above.
We took the bus to get there. (so you’d better check all your itineraries on google for some precautions.)
Squinting my way…haha😂 the sun was really up that day..
