Samal Island

Samal Island is such a gem and definitely underrated, just coz it wasnt introduced commercially as a tourist spot (just yet) Now that the bridge is being built for easier access from the City, the Island may get lot of attention which I think have its good and bad, people are divided on these. Honestly for me (for anyone who asked😆) its mostly good, as for the economy development and making the area more pleasant (ok dont quote me, these are just my surface level two cents) like proper drainage system, reducing litter in land and the waters aswell, recyling process, all the works but still maintaining & keeping the natural course of the island.

Well, thats a lot to cover and deep driven topics, its a long walk to discuss. I will just show you some snaps of our 3days 2nights trip in the Beautiful Samal Island.

Paradise Island Resort

First night, but ofcourse its the nearest and familliar before we headstart to our island adventure.

@Smalldeli

This quaint cafe I will highly recommend, the ambiance is good and the food is even better.

@Captain Barbozza

We had some cold brew and a pizza, It was good. They also offer a place to stay which looking quite cozy and nice (we might try booking a night or two soon)

We also stayed a night @Hof Gorie

Cafe Maanag

Newly opened cafe, food and drinks was okay but definitely a place to visit. The view is astonishing even when it was gloomy and drizzling when we came. Highly recommend!!Ü

I saw some photos while scrolling the web about this place, they seem to have the best view for sunset too bad we didnt get to see that, well more reason to back.Ü

San Remegio

We took a swim in the clearwaters of Samalan, the last time I went here was 2017 with some friends on a sunday also and there wasnt as much people, now it was packed. But nevertheless the shoreline is still very prestine.

must haves.

Virtu Trattoria

We can never miss this italian cafe (its our 3rd time), where we had our late lunch before heading home.
